The <strong>Daca Daguao Academy of Arts<\/strong> was founded on June 1, 2026, with a clear purpose: to offer artistic training with academic rigor, recognized standards, and a global perspective. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not a corporation. I am an educator with an MFA, years of classroom experience, and a firm belief: art can be taught freely, without compromising excellence. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 id=\"cursos-de-arte-con-acreditacion-uc-a-g-para-high-school\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">High School Art Courses with UC A-G Credit<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, the academy offers two courses open to the public: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dacadaguao4d.academy\/en\/course\/fundamentals-of-art\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fundamentals of Art<\/a><\/strong> (available in Spanish and English) and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dacadaguao4d.academy\/en\/course\/el-travieso-grafito-sin-miedo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Mischievous Graphite<\/a><\/strong>, a beginner\u2019s drawing course for young people.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the heart of the project lies in three advanced courses that are currently under development:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Course<\/th><th>Level<\/th><th>Hours<\/th><th>Launch<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Color Without Limits \u2013 Fundamentals<\/td><td>10th<\/td><td>108.5 hours<\/td><td>Aug. 31, 2026<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Color Without Limits \u2013 Expression and Depth<\/td><td>11th<\/td><td>114 hours<\/td><td>Oct. 12, 2026<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Color Without Limits \u2013 Artistic Excellence<\/td><td>12th<\/td><td>190 hrs<\/td><td>Jan. 5, 2027<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>My goal is to obtain <a href=\"https:\/\/admission.universityofcalifornia.edu\/admission-requirements\/first-year-requirements\/subject-requirement-a-g.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UC A-G accreditation (Area F)<\/a><\/strong> so that these courses will be recognized as high school credits. I\u2019m also aiming for <strong>NCAA<\/strong> accreditation and, in the future, <strong>AP art courses<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"examen-de-ubicacion-en-desarrollo\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placement Test in Progress<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For students with prior knowledge, I am designing a <strong>placement test<\/strong> that will allow them to skip levels. This system is still a work in progress, but it is part of my commitment to educational flexibility. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h2 id=\"cinco-pilares-de-la-educacion-artistica-en-linea\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Five Pillars of Online Arts Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the academy's courses are based on five fundamental requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"1-national-core-arts-standards-ncas\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. National Core Arts Standards (NCAS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each module aligns with the four artistic processes: <em>Creating, Presenting, Responding, and Connecting<\/em>. It is not art for art's sake; it is art with a proven pedagogical structure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"2-diversidad-cultural-global\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Global Cultural Diversity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students explore traditions from India, China, Pakistan, Africa, Japan, Latin America, Indigenous art (Australian Aboriginal, Native American), and the Middle East. The world is the classroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"3-carreras-artisticas-y-el-impacto-de-la-ia\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Careers in the Arts and the Impact of AI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don't train artists for the 19th century. Each course covers real-world careers: from traditional illustrator to immersive experience designer. That's why the academy has a <strong>geolocation-based pricing system<\/strong>: the cost of membership is adjusted to reflect the cost of living in the student's country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, students in <strong>the Philippines<\/strong> pay what education costs in their country, not the U.S. price. The system detects the actual origin of the connection (including VPNs) to ensure that the benefit reaches those who truly need it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the academy is translated into Russian, Hindi, Mandarin, French, Portuguese, Turkish, Tagalog, Ilokano, and Arabic, this model will expand to more countries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 id=\"tambien-para-artistas-en-transicion\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Also for artists in transition<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although my primary focus is on young people and homeschooling families, the academy is also for <strong>artists who have been displaced by corporate restructuring<\/strong> or automation. Here, they find a space for retraining and professional development without having to start from scratch. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 id=\"mi-historia-de-las-aulas-de-memphis-a-la-academia-global\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Story: From the Classrooms of Memphis to the Global Academy<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don't come from an ivory tower. I come from the classroom. In 2019, after years in the U.S. education system, I realized that change wouldn't come from within, but from outside.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am inspired by educators like <strong>Ron Clark<\/strong> and <strong>Jaime Escalante<\/strong>, who demonstrated that excellence stems from passion and perseverance. In Memphis, I helped build one of the most successful art departments in the United States in just four years.
